Ordering from Music Mart is easy!

First, navigate our categories or departments from the links provided in the Shop By Department menu or by entering your search information in the search located at the top of the page.

If you selected a category, or department, after you arrive on a department page, select from the subcategories to display items. (If you don't see the item you're looking for, try searching for it, using the search box, or advanced search page. Less popular items may not be displayed.)

Find the item you want and add it to your cart by: 1) clicking on the "add to cart" button next to the item, or 2) by adding the quantity in the box. Specific category pages prompt you to enter the quantity you need after the item, then you must scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Add items to Cart" button.

If you want to remove an item from your cart, use the "my basket" link top or select the "remove " box next to the item at checkout and click on "update quantity" button. To increase the quantity of a certain item, retype in the desired quantity and click on the "Update Quantity" button, located on the "contents of shopping cart" page.

Not finished shopping? From the Shopping Cart page, you can select the "Keep Shopping" button, or the "Shop By department link at the top left side of the page.

Once you have added all desired items to your shopping cart, click the "Checkout" button on the Contents of Shopping Cart page, enter a coupon code (if you have one) to continue checking out.

on the next checkout page, (step 1) enter your billing address (check the shipping address circle if you are having your order shipped to a different address). Note that if you are using a credit card, your billing address must be the physical location where you receive your credit card statement each month. (For fraud prevention purposes, Music Mart uses what's called "address verification" when we process your purchase amount.)

If you selected a different shipping address (step 1b), click the "Add Address" button to enter your shipping address, or click the "Use This Address" button if you are shipping your order to the same address as your billing address.

Next (step 2), select your delivery method. Music Mart offers shipping by USPS and UPS, as well as In Store order pick up for those customers in Albuquerque or who will be traveling to our store.

Next, select your payment method. Music Mart offers payment by credit card, PayPal or by Purchase order for Organizations, Schools or Churches. (Note if paying by Purchase Order, you'll need to enter a reference number. Use your initials, or today's date if no purchase order number is not available)


Finally, click the "Place Order" button on the Review Tab to complete your order.

Can I special order an item not found on the website

In general, if we carry products from a specific publisher or manufacturer, we may be able to special order other products from them as well.  To inquire about special ordering of an item either by emailing us at orderdept@musicmart.com, or by phoning us at 1-800-545-6204.


I never received confirmation of my order, what do I Do?

Please call us at 1-800-545-6204 to verify that we have your correct email address on file. Have your order number available if possible; Our customer service will be able to provide the status or your order and provide you with any tracking information if your order has been shipped.

When will I be charged for my order?

Upon ordering, an authorization for the full amount of the order will occur. Orders paid by credit card are billed upon shipment. Due to the nature of PayPal, all orders placed using PayPal are billed when they placed on the website. This occurs even if an item is not immediately available to ship.

In store pickup:

You may request in store pickup, if you want to pick up your order at our Albuquerque location. No shipping or handling charge applies. (Just request to pick up your order by typing this info into the comments section at checkout.) We will notify you by Email or telephone when your order is ready for pickup (any shipping charges listed at order total won't be charged)

Shipping Methods (not be be confused with delivery time):

We offer shipping by US Postal Service, or UPS. Note: if you are shipping your order to a PO box, we can only ship via USPS, because UPS does not deliver to a P.O. Box. This includes military addresses since they require delivery via the U.S. Postal Service. If you provide a PO Box with your order, and request Fed Ex or UPS shipping, we will ship via the US Postal Service. Shipping amounts is based on an estimation of weight only and may vary slight when your order is actually shipped. Music Mart is not responsible for delivery times once your order leaves our warehouse.

Next (Step 3: Order Summary) select your payment method. Music Mart accepts payment from individuals by credit card. If you are purchasing for a school, organization or church, and you have an established Music Mart account, enter your purchase order number (Note: we must have a hard copy of your PO in our office if you are ordering for a school.) Upon submitting your order, you'll see a confirmation screen that verifies your charges, your shipping/billing addresses, and your payment method; print this screen for your records.

International Shipping

Music Mart ships orders worldwide, the US Postal Service or by UPS when requested. Please be aware that when ordering from overseas, Canada and Mexico, our shipping fees DO NOT INCLUDE any brokerage, import or customs fees charged by your country, or the shipping company or any 3rd party involved in the shipping process.

If you are placing your order from overseas, we may communicate with you via Email to advise you of different shipping options not already offered on our website if we deem the shipping method you have selected to be unnecessarily expensive.

• If you need to cancel or change any order, just give our internet order department a call and speak to a representative, or you may leave us a message and we'll return your call by the next business day, and reference your order number, or send us an email to orderdept@musicmart.com 

• Orders for items in stock will normally ship within 24 hours (not including weekends, or shipping holidays). Backorders for product not in stock are generally shipped within 10-15 business days. If any product you ordered is not in stock and subsequently is reported by it's publisher to be out of print and no longer available, we will notify you via Email or telephone as soon as we are notified by the publisher (generally within 10 days of your order.)

  • NOTE: All mailed orders must be submitted with full payment. We will hold all orders until payment is finalized. If your credit card is declined, we'll call or email you requesting a different payment method. We will hold your order for 2 weeks, then the item(s) will be put back to stock and your order will be considered cancelled. Music Mart does accept "purchase orders" from universities, public schools, or other organizations that normally pay vendors after receiving an order. Just fax your purchase order to (505) 889-9070 or toll free to 1-877-653-3627. All International orders must be submitted with full payment via Credit Card. International orders submitted with "Purchase Order" billing will not be processed.

Searching for an item.

Having trouble finding your desired music titles? Try using the general search found at the top of every page on our website.

If you don't locate an item using it's complete title, just search for keywords instead, such as a word in the title, or it's author, arranger, composer or publisher's catalog number.

Price and Availability of items

Music Mart is a retail print music dealer. All prices and availability of items on our website are controlled by the publisher or manufacturer and may change without notice. Regrettably, with over half a million items in our database, occasions occur when price and availability are not accurate. If price or availability on a item you have ordered changes, when possible, we will notify you prior to shipping. If you would like current price or availability information on any item, please call us at 1-800-545-6204, or send us an email to info@musicmart.com.

How Do I Return an Item?

Due to copyright issues, most printed music items we sell are not returnable, so you should be certain of what you order. If you have a question, you may call us at 1-800-545-6204, and we'll be happy to advise you about any printed item. We can tell you about the key of a song, the range of a song, the other songs in a collection, and other information when available. Recorded products (CDs, CD-ROM software, DVDs and videos) are not returnable once unwrapped unless defective. Books with CDs/DVDs attached to a cover are also not returnable once the envelope of the CD/DVD has been opened. Instruments are not returnable. Defective items will be exchanged for the same item only.

To ensure prompt replacement of or credit for damaged or defective items, please check your product upon arrival and report any problems to our customer service department immediately. You must call 1-800-545-6204 and obtain return authorization from a customer service representative before sending a return. Unauthorized returns will not be credited. Returns must be made within 15 days of the delivery date.

Returned items must be in their original condition, free of creases, scratches, writing, stickers, or punctures. Corners should not be worn or bent. For your protection, we recommend shipping returns via UPS or insured parcel post. We cannot refund shipping charges unless the return is due to our error. Items should be returned in their original packaging or another corrugated cardboard box. Books must be carefully packed to prevent damage due to shifting in transit. Items damaged in the return shipment will only be credited 50% of invoiced value. Include a copy of your invoice in the package.

Music on Exam Service

Not sure what music is right for your group? Music Mart offers a music on exam service to church directors and school teachers of single copies of choral music, band arrangements, piano collections, handbell music, etc. This service is however limited to in stock items. Just give us a call and we can custom tailor a package for you based on your needs. Exam times range from 2-3 weeks. We'll ship items out to you for a 2-3 week period, you pay the postage. Pay for what you want to keep, and ship back the balance. Non returned items will be billed to you. Just call us at 1-800-545-6204 and we'll be glad to help!

What is your Sales Tax and Tax-Exempt Organization policy?

If you reside in New Mexico, your order will be charged sales tax, unless you are billing your order to a school, Non Profit organization or church, or you have a non tax certificate (NTTC) on file at our Albuquerque location.



Order Delivery Time

for items in stock.  2-7 business days (M-F excluding holidays), depending on your geographical location, If any item you order is not in our stock, we will notify you by email or telephone within 2 business days of the time you place your order.

Our website is a catalog listing of available products. Items listed on our website are not necessarily in stock in our warehouse. Any item's in print status and price are subject to change at any time by the publisher.

All in stock items are shipped from Albuquerque, NM.  Expedited orders for items which are not in stock may be shipped directly from the publisher or manufacturer at our discretion, however we will notify you if this is the case.

What about Expedited Shipping?

Yes! Just select an Expedited shipping method on the appropriate checkout page. (Media Mail is NOT an expedited service) If the item you request is not in our stock, we will have them shipped directly to you from the manufacturer (publisher). If you select items from multiple publishers, and such items are not in our stock, the price for shipping a rush order to you will of course change, as each publisher will ship from their own location. Shipping charges from each publisher will be added to your order, and may exceed the original shipping quote. We will notify you in such case by telephone or email.

Discounts?

With exception to products "on sale" or special quantity discounts, Music mart is a retail printed music, instrument and accessory dealer.



Can I use a Purchase Order?

Yes, if you are ordering under a school, church or organization, and required by such to use a purchase order, you may order from us. We do require a hard copy to be on file in our office. If you have an established account (church, individual or organization) with us, and you want to bill your order, just enter any reference code as the PO method. If we have any questions, we'll call you.

Our website works quickly and reliably with most popular web browsers using the most common security settings. Our shopping cart, however, utilizes cookies, small pieces of information that our site sends to your computer to "remember" who you are while you browse.

  • Firefox: From the Tools menu, select Options. Click the Privacy icon on the left and then the + box next to Cookies. Select both boxes next to Allow sites to set cookies and for the originating website only so that they are selected. You may select any option from the Keep Cookies drop-down menu.
  • Internet Explorer 5.x or later: Select Tools from the top menu, followed by Internet Options. Click the Privacy tab. In the Settings section, lower your privacy level to Medium High. This level assures your protection while allowing navigation of our website.
  • Netscape 6.x or later: Click the Edit option located at the top menu, followed by Preferences. Click the triangle to the left of Privacy & Security, located on the left-hand side of the window. Click Cookies. To the right, select Enable all cookies.
  • Safari (Mac OS X): From the Safari menu, select Preferences. Click the Security icon at the top. In the lower section for Cookies options, select Only from sites you navigate to. Close the preferences window to save these settings.

    On Windows PCs, Firefox and Internet Explorer seem to offer the best navigation and viewing experience.
